KEY WEST 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT · SINCE 2005 · LOCALS HELPING LOCALS
For more than 20 years, Sister Season Fund has been there for the people who help make Key West the place we all love.
We provide temporary financial assistance to eligible hospitality and tourism industry workers who are unable to work due to an unexpected illness, accident, natural disaster or state/nationwide declared emergency.
When life takes an unexpected turn, a little help can make a big difference.
Sister Season Fund was founded in Key West in 2005 with a simple mission: to help local hospitality and tourism workers facing a temporary financial hardship through no fault of their own.
Our community depends on the people who work in our restaurants, bars, hotels, attractions and tourism-related businesses. When illness, injury or disaster suddenly prevents someone from working, even a short interruption in income can make it difficult to keep up with basic living expenses.
That’s where Sister Season Fund steps in.
For qualifying applicants, we provide assistance with rent, mortgage payments, and/or utilities, helping our neighbors stay safely in their homes while they get back on their feet.
If you work in Key West’s hospitality or tourism industry and have experienced a qualifying temporary loss of income, Sister Season Fund may be able to help.
Funding is available to qualifying applicants based on eligibility and the availability of funds.
Sister Season Fund is powered by the generosity of people and businesses who believe in taking care of the community that takes care of us.
Your donation helps provide critical housing and utility assistance to local workers when they need it most.
Whether you make a donation, sponsor an event, become a community partner or support one of our fundraisers, you are helping a Key West neighbor through a difficult moment.
